The Wakonda Elementary LADY’s (Loving Affirming Discerning Yourself)

The Wakonda Elementary Lady’s is a group mentoring program that meets every Thursday over the lunch hour (12:00 - 1:00pm) with 5th grade girls for women mentors and 4th grade boys for male mentors.

We get to know each other and work on goal setting, career exploration and leadership skills as the girls prepare for middle school. Our presence is needed to help build confidence, self-esteem and promote a positive self-image while developing essential life skills and leadership traits for greatness.  We also bring in professional females to discuss various career interests.

Nathan Hale LADY’s (Loving Affirming Discerning Yourself)

Loving Affirming Discerning Yourself (LADY) is a continuation program for the young ladies from Wakonda Elementary who attend Nathan Hale as we continue to develop confidence and self-esteem, financial literacy, career exploration and to work on goal setting of essential life skills and leadership traits as they prepare for high school and college. They will meet on Wednesdays over the lunch hour at noon.
